Type: House Set Design
Status: Completed
The house set, created for Big Brother, aligned with the practices principle exploration of new architect roles. The set was designed around the spatial senses of both the voyeur and the exhibitor and explored the foibles of each. This was defined through various chamber rooms and most poignantly defined within the rammed earth garden den. At the time, it appeared on nearly every front newspaper when the mud hut became the exposed love shack whilst the architecture became highly sensationalized. The building also became the UK's largest solar paneled house.
